WELL, Wreck-It Ralph is a 2012 animated movie created by the Walt Disney Company, which follows a 80's arcade cabinet villain called Ralph as he learns to accept himself for who he is with the help of the friends he makes along the way! the movie features fun and loveable characters, an awesome soundtrack and art direction, and plenty of cameo's from real game characters like Qbert, Sonic the hedgehog and Zangif! its also the movie the made When Can I See You Again by Owl City a thing so thats pretty cool
Theres Wreck-It Ralph himself, a somewhat stubborn guy from a 80's platformer (?) with a heart of gold under all the muscle,
Vanellope Von Schweetz, a glitchy girl from a modern Go-Kart game that deserves the title of 'Original Rage Bater',
Fix it Felix, the player character of the game ralph comes from who acts like a suburban dad with a kiss the cook apron,
and last but certainly not least, Sargent Calhoun, a tough soldier woman from a modern shooter with a no nonsense attitude!
(SIDE NOTE, Felix and Calhoun are married. they get hitched during the end of the movie monolog (sorry lesbians) )
BESIDES FROM THOSE GUYS, theres the main villain of the movie, TURBO: an absolutely terrible attention lover from an 80's racing game who disguises himself as King candy, a supposedly kind ruler who rules over the kingdom inside the go kart game Vanellope originally ruled!
aswell as the various diffrent side characters, like the Sugar Rush racers and sour bill!
well, in universe all arcade characters live inside their various games, and during the day they act normally to keep the illusion of them not being alive (kinda like the toys from toy story) but at night they roam around and go to whatever arcade they want via traveling to and from Game Central Station (aka the powerboard the cabinets are plugged into) by cables that act as train lines!
(yes i know i already did this joke on the psychonauts page shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)

ANYONE WHO SAYS SO OTHERWISE IS AN ENEMY TO THE STATE
THIS MOVIE IS A SKIN WALKER WEARING THE FLESH OF THE ORIGINAL!!!! DO NOT TRUST IT!!
THE ONLY GOOD THINGS THAT HAVE COME OF THIS MOVIE ARE KNOWSMORE AND THE RALPH ROLL
besides from the characters, i ADORE the art direction!!!
watching behind the scenes videos and looking at concept art is so cool cuz i get to see all the little details they put in the movie! for example, the nicelanders from Fix it Felix Jr (ralph and felix's game) being animated a frame lower than everyone else, and heros duty (calhoun's game) being entirely made up of triangles!
also all the arcade worlds just look so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as someone who cant do backgrounds even if it saved me, i just find em to be AWESOME AS HELL!!
