Psychonauts is a platformer originally created in 2005 by DoubleFine with Tim Schafer as the Director (known for games like Grim Fandango) which follows Razputin Aquato, (usually refered to as Raz) a kid with psychic ablity's (such as astral projection, aka going into peoples brain) running away from his home in the circus to Whispering Rock: Psychic Summer Camp in an attempt to join the Psychonauts, an elite organization of psychics dedicated to protecting people from danger and helping people fight their demons. each platforming level takes place in the brain of another person, allowing the player to really dive into all the little nooks and crannies of the mind!
i personally enjoy the humor, art direction, and the genuinely gut wrenching story at the heart of it all! also the concept of going into someones brain and seeing everything thats going on in there is fUCKINGAWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
theres the Original game, simply titled Psychonauts of which i've already explained the plot of, Psychonauts and The Rhombus of Ruin which is a playstation VR game which takes place directly after the first game, as Raz, Sasha, Milia and Lili attempt to save Lili's dad (the head of the psychonauts) from being kidnapped, and then after THAT theres Psychonauts 2, which takes place after Rhombus of ruin, as Raz continues his journey to become a agent while also unraveling a decades long lie that could change Raz's life forever.

so besides from Raz theres The Campers and The Interns (Raz's peers from the first game and second game respectively), the Residents of Thorny Towers mental asyllum, the ultimate badass Lili Zanotto, Raz's mentors Sasha and Milla (who work as full fledged agents), Agent Oleander, the fake war veteran who was one of the main villains from the first game along side Dr Loboto who is an insane unlicensed dentist, The Psychic Seven (formerly known as the Psychic six) who are the founders of the psychonauts, The Aquato's (Razputin's family), Truman Zanotto and Hollis Forsythe the Grand Head and Second Head of the psychonauts and Gristol Malik, the narcissist twist villain of the second game.
BESIDES FROM THAT FREAK, i also like Milla, doodle Raz and Dr Loboto!
(fun fact: when i first started getting into psychonauts, compton and loboto were my most favourites! that uh... changed after i got back into the series and became insane over he who shall not be named)
